According to football London, Borussia Dortmund are willing to accept Manchester United star Anthony Martial in exchange for Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland is perhaps the most sought-after striker in Europe at the moment with both Manchester city and Chelsea both reported to have an interest in the Norwegian due to his exceptional goal scoring record.
Haaland netted 41 goals for current club Borussia Dortmund last season in all competitions, more than any other Dortmund player Making many Clubs salivate for his services this summer.
It is worthy noting that there is shortage of clinical strikers in the market especially in Europe and getting someone like Erling Halaand would be a plus to any club
Chelsea has been seriously linked with the 21-year-old and is believed to be the blues number one target before the transfer window shuts down at the end of next month.
Manchester city on the other hand are in the market sourcing for a striker after the exit of Kun aguero to Barcelona. They have been linked with Tottenham and England striker Harry but have been scared with spurs valuation of the player.
However, any deal for the Norwegian striker is likely to cost way over £100million, meaning the Blues might not be able to acquire his services at the moment with a ravaged book balance..
Latest report indicate a swap deal foe the Norwegian with Manchester united star Anthony Martial and Haaland’s future at Signal Iduna Park is in Limbo, with many expecting him to depart this summer. This would see Haaland re-unite with former partner and recent Manchester united signing Jadon Sancho.
In a recent interview, Halaand expressed his disappointment at losing teammate Jadon Sancho to Manchester United.
And once again he indicated that he is focused on the new campaign with Dortmund, saying: “There’s a lot of other good players that I still have a good tone with and will become even better.
“We have to see who I match the best with. We will see.”
Bimasport has been following up this matter and takes a look at everything that has been speculated around where Haaland will be playing his football next season.
Sky Sports in Germany reporter Max Bielefeld said that Chelsea face an almost impossible task of convincing Borussia Dortmund to accept their offer for Haaland this summer, despite their continued interest.
Max Bielefeld reports that it is ‘mission impossible’ for the Blues to sign him this summer, meaning Chelsea may be forced to look elsewhere to bring in a new striker.
