Government spokesman Colonel (Rtd) Cyrus Oguna GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSON Cyrus Oguna says he is receiving treatment for Covid-19 at an isolation centre after testing positive for covid19.
In an announcement on posted on social media Friday, he says he’s at an isolation facility receiving care.
“Contact tracing is ongoing and my family is ok.”
Oguna said he recently travelled out of town on assignment and got mild virus symptoms upon return.
“I urge all Kenyans to take this disease seriously and take all the necessary precautions to avoid getting infected.”
The announcement, however, comes just days after Col Oguna rubbished claims that he had been hospitalised after testing positive alongside two unidentified Cabinet Secretaries from Nyanza and Rift Valley.
