Manchester United are back in Premier League action as they face Southampton at Old Trafford on Monday night with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in desperate need of another win to increase their hopes of Joining the elite Champions league.

United are unbeaten in their last 17 matches across all competitions and know victory tonight will see them leapfrog both Chelsea and Leicester in the league as we enter the final fortnight of fixtures.

United have lost just one of their last 15 home league games, winning the last four in a row by an aggregate score of 13-2. However, they have won just two of their last six Premier League home games against Southampton.

In terms of early team news Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe remain the only long-term absentees with United in contention to name an unchanged starting line up for a fifth successive league game.

United’s game against Southampton will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event (with crowd noise) and Sky Sports Premier League (without crowd noise) from 7:30pm on Monday, July 13 (tonight). There will also be a live stream on NOW TV. For those watching the game on DSTV, the game will be Supersport 3

The kick off is at 8pm London time and 10pm East Africa time
