Manchester United have been putting the finishing touches to their preparation as they get ready to face the Blues in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend.

Solskjaer and Lampard are set to lock horns at Wembley in the capital on Sunday evening as they battle for a place against Arsenal in the showpiece final next month.

The Red devils are currently on an incredible unbeaten run heading into the match and haven’t tasted defeat in any of their last 19 matches across all competitions.

Ole’s side have already made their way down to London for the match and here is what we noticed from the pictures of their final training session at Carrington on Saturday.

United’s new look training Kit

It might not be the biggest news of the weekend but United showed off their new 2020/21 training kit as they took part in the latest session.

United players were seen modelling the new olive green gear which includes orange and white detailing throughout the overall design.

It is certainly a fresh new look for United, and it is a fitting way to mark their rejuvenated form since football returned last week. It’ll become even more iconic if they reach a Wembley final wearing it.

Sergio Romero to start?

Ole remained professional when he spoke of his team selection at Saturday’s press conference and he has a tough decision to make when it comes to picking his goalkeeper.

De Gea has endured another mixed season at Old Trafford but remains the best at the club, while it is Sergio Romero who is often selected for cup encounters.

Fans remain divided on where the FA Cup ranks as a target for the last few weeks of the season and Sunday’s team selection will highlight exactly what Ole thinks of it.

Fosu-Mensah could feature

Timothy Fosu-Mensah went three years and 56 days without appearing for United but could make his second appearance in just four days when the two sides meet at Wembley this weekend.

The Dutch defender featured for United in their semi-final win over Everton four years ago and could be a wise selection at left-back if Brandon Williams is not fit enough to start.

Ole’s faith in the youngster was repaid against former club Crystal Palace in midweek and Fosu-Mensah certainly deserves a place on the bench at least.

Shaw and Williams not spotted

Luke Shaw was driven into training on Saturday morning as Ole ruled him out of the weekend trip to Wembley, however he stated Williams ‘should be fine’ for the semi-final clash.

Despite both being seen arriving at Carrington neither of the defensive duo were actually pictured during the final session in Manchester, and it is unclear whether the later will be risked this weekend.

Dalot would be another contender to fill in at left-back if required and the Portuguese defender was seen in high spirits during the session.
