Different Ways Manchester United Could Lineup Next season and Win the Premier League

Manchester united finished second, 12 points behind champions Manchester city. At one point united looked as if they could challenge for the league. This coming season, united should try to challenge for the league with another eye for the Champions league as they look to advance further in the competition.

Manchester united could look to utilize what they already have with the strained resources due to covid 19. At Bimasport, we like working with what we have.

With champions league football, united should look to strengthen their squad as they will require two strong teams. United should be able to totally make changes to the starting 11 by allowing some players to rest.

During that controversial season, unite were able to gain 31ponits from losing positions, the highest in the season.

United were not able to dominate games from the first minute and destroy teams. In fact, they won fewer matches against the traditional Top 6 compared to the previous season

How were united able to Come back

With united already loosing the game, they could play expansive football without fear, attack down the wings, count attack teams and inject a few subs like Edinson Cavani who would change the complexity of the game,

United would play attacking football in these instances with the team defending as a unit and attacking as a unit.

How could Manchester united lineup next season?

With limited funds due to the corona virus, Manchester united could simply be able to acquire two players or three. Number one on the list would be Jadon Sancho.

We thought Ole Gunnar Solksjaer could experiment a total switch in Formation to bring more energy to the team, surprise everyone and bring in something different.

Here is how united could lineup

Formation 5-1-3-1

Ole could go with three at the back with Wingbacks dropping deeper when attacked and playing high on the field while in transition.

In Goal

Dean Henderson 1

Dean Henderson seems to have cemented his position in goal and the eminent departure of David De gea could signify a permanent number one choice. United are looking to sign Nick back back to Old Trafford to deputize Hendo. The underrated Sergio Romero has left the club

Back 3

Harry Maguire 5

He is good in the Air and lead in most stats last season despite getting injured and missing the last games. He is also a good supplier of the ball and would play in the heart of the defense. Critics think that he was better than Ruben Dias last season despite the later winning the player of the month.

Victor Lindelof 2

The iceman is cool on the ball and has impressed during the Euro 2020 winning Man of the Match in the game against former world champions Spain.

Aaron Wan Bissaka 29

The spider man has shown to be very good defensively but has struggled moving forward. Earlier reports have indicated that Ole is planning to move him to the heart of the defense and this could happen during the preseason. He has also missed on the England Euro 2020 squad although pundits believe its unfair for him. Becoming a centre half could prove beneficial to him and improve his confidence on the ball. United have conceded poor goals due to poor defense and he could be the missing piece

Wing backs

Luke Shaw 23

His game has improved earning a call for England. Last season he proved to be so versatile in transition and this could be a plus. He needs to work on his crossing and hitting target. He impressed in this position in the Manchester derby scoring one goal.

Daniel James  21

Many fans will imagine that this is overthinking but he has all the traits to be a wingback. With good pace and good crossing. With Jadon Sancho coming to Old Trafford, this could reduce is attacking duties and focus on tracking back. His pace allows him to track back. Antonio Valencia and Ashley young excelled at Manchester united as right backs even after starting as wingers. In terms of physique, the twin brothers Rafael and Fabio performed well under Fergie in the same position. Bimasport believes that he will deliver in the position with good coaching.

Changes that could happen

Luke shaw could replace Lindelof in the back three while Alex tells who is good at attack and crossing could take his position as a wing back.

Eric bailey could come in for AWB in the back three.

If united manage to sign Max Aaron, he could still play as a wing back

Defensive midfield

Scott Mc tominay 39

The Scott impressed in the Euro 2020 match against England but was playing in the back three. This shown defensive he is good. He has also shown that he can attack. Apart from his first half hauler where he recovered fast, he is good defensively. He only needs to work on his ball supply. Declan rice could come to deputize him.

Attacking Midfield 3

Paul Pogba 6

He would be station on the far Left but a times dropping off to assist Mcsauce in midfield and carry the ball to the strikers. He is also good against teams with a lower block by being dangerous from 18 yard. He can dribble and produce that killer pass that could make a difference. He is good on the Left but poor at tackling. Marcus rashford and Antony martial can still do better in this position in case pogba departs with rumors indicating that that he is on his way out of Manchester united.

Jadon Sancho 37

With reports indicating that Manchester united have improved their offer. Sancho is surely destined to Old Trafford. The right winger is good on the ball with great dribbling skills. This could be the missing piece that united needed. He could be deputized by Mason greenwood

Bruno Fernandes 18

He is the most creative player in the squad. Leading last season in both goals and assists. He will be having a better option on the right wing in Sancho to look at. Jesse Lingard return could give united something different in case they want to rest Bruno. Having Champions league and premier to chase, united could look to have a strong squad to challenge both. The Portuguese magnifico is equal to the task.

Striker role

Marcus Rashford 10

Not our number striker here at Bimasport but we believe he has something different compared to the choices we had. He is currently low on confidence but we believe he is a good player. Edinson Cavani is the perfect deputy in this case and Rashford has a lot to learn from him. Mason greenwood has been praised as a natural finisher by Ole and could also find time to develop in this role.

Substitutes

Nick Pope 26

He is tried and tested and in the eminent departure of DG, he is the perfect deputy

Erick Bailey 3

He offers something different in defense although has been derailed by injuries. By signing a new contract, united surely have plans for him

Alex tells 27

He is good in attack and crossing. He could come in for Luke shaw but could also com in the starting 11 in case Ole moves Shaw moves to the back 3

Fred 17

He could play in Pogbas position, a position he has excelled for the Samba boys. His stats for the Brazil national team are good in that position. Alternatively, he could play in Scott position as he is a good ball distributor.

Antony Martial 9

He is good coming from the left and a clinical finisher hence can still retain his striker position. Many fans think he is lazy but we at Bimasport believe that he makes thinks simple

He could replace either Pogba or Rashford

Mason Greenwood 11

Described by Ole as a natural finisher. He could come in for both Sancho or Rashford. Depends on the complexity of the game. He has a long way to go being a teenager. He has already broken records

Edinson Cavani 7

Having signed a one year contract extension, Cavani has proved to be a Super sub. Very clinical with good in box movements. He could come in the starting 11 as the striker.

Amad Diallo 19

Believed to be the future messi of man united. United did a good thing in buying to exploit his potential. Ryan gigs once claimed that united were to buy Mbape at a tender age but failed to do so. He has now become a sensational French international and goal scorer for PSG valued at £200M

Brandon Williams 33

One for the future but when duty calls, he delivers.

Ellanga 56

Shoretire 74

Mebjri 20

Juan Mata 8
