Amani national congress deputy party leader while addressing mourners at the Requiem Mass of the Late Mother and family Matriarch of the Amani national congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi Mama Hannah Atsianzale Mudavadi claimed that he was offered a bribe to Overthrow his party leader as ANC boss.
In a honest confession, Ayub Savula who is the Lugari member of parliament claimed that an unammed person landed in his compound in a chopper with 17million Kenya shillings to persuade him to Overthrow Musalia Mudavadi.
” Someone landed in a chopper when I was burying my father with 17 million and asked me to betray my party leader. I told him am a pastor’s child and I could not do that. I am grateful to the Mudavadi family”, said Savula
Ayub Savula also confessed to the mourners that Musalia Mudavadi had paid his college fees together with that of former ANC secretary General and nominated member of parliament Godfrey Osotsi.
He appreciated the Mudavadi family for that.
It is important to note that Hon Godfrey Osotsi has been a strong critic of Musalia Mudavadi.
Mid last year, there were claims that the ANC party leader was to be removed from his party leadership after the attempted coup against Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula.
Godfrey Osotsi had been vocal about this matter.
During the Requiem Mass of the late Mama Hannah Atsianzale Mudavadi who is the widow of former powerful Minister Moses Mudamba Mudavadi, there were calls for the ellusive Luhya unity ahead of the 2022 polls. Leader after leader who spoke at the event called for the Luhya community to unite.
