Trusted sources indicate that Manchester United are edging closer to signing English winger Jadon Sancho from Dortmund and a deal could be completed by the end of the week, according to verified reports.
Manchester united manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to improve his squad this summer and would ideally like to make the additions of a centre-midfielder, playmaker and winger, with Borussia Dortmund’s Sancho being the top target.
The 20-year-old sensational has enjoyed another season in Germany and United are confident of finally bringing him to Old Trafford after previously failing to do so in 2017
The summer transfer window is already opened but United are yet to make a formal offer for the winger but, according to the Independent.
Negotiations between the two clubs have accelerated over the last 24 hours and there is confidence that the move will be concluded soon.
Reports indicate that Dortmund have set a deadline of August 10 for the deal to be finalised as they don’t want any transfer saga to interrupt their pre-season preparations.
A deal is yet to be agreed and it’s reported that the last bone of contention is the structure of how United will pay their installments following an initial £60million payment, as well as how much of an eventual £120million deal will be bonus based.
Reports claim that Sancho has agreed personal terms and is excited about the move and and that it’s likely that a deal will be struck in the coming days.
