Manchester united midfielder Jesse Lingard is reportedly willing to consider a permanent transfer to Westham this summer, despite suggestions that he wants to remain at the theatre of dreams.
Lingard really impressed on his loan deal with the hammers. The 28-year-old scored nine goals with five assists in 16 appearances while on loan at West Ham during the second half of the 2020-21 season.
Football insider claimed that Jesse Lingard had informed Manchester United that he is keen to stay at Old Trafford and sign a new contract with the Red devils.
However, according to Football insider, the England capped international is open to joining the London side on a permanent basis.
The report, though, claims that Lingard wants an improvement on his current deal, meaning that West Ham would have to make him their top earner in order to bring him to the London Stadium.
A decision on the midfielder future is allegedly until he has held talks with Man United upon his return to pre-season training next month.
Many pundits agree that Jesse is a good player that needs game time to improve more. Unfortunately, he shares the same position with Bruno Fernandes who is having a good time at Old Trafford
