- Cessation of movement into and out of Nairobi Met, Mombasa, Mandera shall lapse at 4am tomorrow, Tues 7th July.
- Nationwide curfew currently in force extended for a further 30 days.
- Places of worship will commence phased reopening for congregational worship in strict conformity of guidelines & protocols.
- Only a maximum of 100 participants will be allowed at a worship ceremony, which should not last longer than an hour. Sunday schools, madrassas remain closed.
- Min of Education to jointly notify public, no later than tomorrow, on resumption of 2020 academic calendar.
- No movement of public transport vehicles into and out of areas previously under restrictions, without PSV‘a being compliant. Operators will require mandatory certification from Min of Health in consultation with Min of Transport
- Local transport to resume on Wed 15th July, in strict compliance w/ guidelines. International travel to resume effective 1st Aug in strict conformity w/ local & international civil aviation authorities.
- Political gatherings to remain suspended for 30 days.
- Min of Health to establish of protocols for resumption of important and sale of second hand clothing.
- BARS to remain for takeaways only. Weddings still restricted for numbers for another 30 days.
