Reports claims that Manchester United will compete with Wolves for the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
Solskjaer is hoping to improve his squad this summer in order to mount a Premier League title challenge next season and, as well as a new winger and playmaker
The latest name to emerge is PSG’s combative defensive-midfielder Gueye who, according to Le10Sport, via The Sun, will be moved on from the Parisians this summer.
The decision would seem a strange one as the former Everton player has made an often flaky PSG much more defensively solid this season but it’s reported that sporting director Leonardo is looking to overhaul the midfield.
PSG’s loss could be United’s gain and it’s claimed that they are looking to bring Gueye back to the Premier League after just a season in France, though they will reportedly face competition from Wolves, with an exit set to be negotiations following the conclusion of their Champions League campaign.
BIMA Sport does not currently understand Gueye to be a target and, at 29, he doesn’t fit in the club’s ideal age range for new signings.
