According to Fabrizio Romano, English giants Manchester United are not done after edging closer to signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane
Sources believe that after sealing this transfer, Manchester United are not done after in the transfer market
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has insisted United are not quite done this summer despite the positive development in the bid to sign Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane.
The Italian journalist while live on his channel gave his signature ‘here we go’ message in regards to confirming the English side have nearly secured the sensational Frenchman.
Fabrizio Romano believe that Manchester United are interested in signing Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga.
Although fans have been excited about United’s interest, many were concerned Varane wouldn’t actually ever make the switch given what’s happened in the past with likes of Sergio Ramos who recently joined PSG on a free transfer.
There is a history of hungry players agents using the popular club’s name in order to secure bigger contracts with their own sides, rather than truly wanting to move to Old Trafford.
Luckily it seems Raphael Varane’s interest is genuine and it’s understood he wants to play for Manchester United especially under Solskjaer.
FabrizioRomano: “It’s not the end of the transfer window for #mufc. Now it’s ni time for outgoings, but I can say that midfielder and right back..
Manchester United are preparing paperworks for Raphaël Varane. DONE deal as reported today – official announcement after details will be sorted. Fee around €50m.
Here-we-go. 🔴 #MUFCVarane camp still waiting for quarantine rules – but he’s expected to fly to England this week. https://t.co/YZbI2GzjRV
