Manchester United transfer news has started to trickle in ahead of the transfer window and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a four-man shortlist of defenders he’s considering targeting
Manchester United have a four-man shortlist of defenders they could target this summer including Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports.
While Ole has made Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho as the transfer target priority, there could also be changes at the back next season. changes come after sloppy defensive display by united during their match against Bournemouth.
According to reports, Solskjaer is mulling over whether to sign a striker, another central midfielder or a new central defender alongside Sancho.
And the former Molde boss already has some names in mind ahead of the transfer window opening.
Long-standing transfer target Koulibaly is on his radar with United having been constantly linked with a move for the Senegal international in previous years.
Napoli have always played hardball over his value but following the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, his initial price could go as low as £70m.
