Jadon Sancho has been officially announced as a Manchester United player by the club! Who’s buzzing about the news and excited to see him play for Man United next season?
It took two summers but Sancho is finally a United player and I tell you what, he’s going to be worth the wait!

Jadon Sancho will wear number 25 at Manchester United.

This comes after many had anticipated Edinson Cavani who signed a one year contract extension will surrender the number 7 but united have confirmed that Elmatador will keep the number 7. 🔴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This is what Sancho had to say in first interview

🗣 Sancho: “I’ll always be grateful to Dortmund for giving me the opportunity to play first team football, although I always knew that I would return to England one day. The chance to join Manchester United is a dream come true & I just cannot wait to perform in the Premier League.”

🗣 Sancho: “This is a young and exciting squad and I know, together, we can develop into something special to bring the success that the fans deserve. I am looking forward to working with the Manager and his coaching team to further develop my game.”

🗣 Sancho: “It’s an honour. Growing up, Manchester United was one of the biggest clubs that everyone knows, and of course there is also all the trophies they’ve won and there have been many iconic players that have come before me. So I’m very happy to be wearing this jersey now.”

🗣 Sancho: “Obviously when I was at the Euros that’s when things started to pick up even more and I started to hear that United were interested, and I’m here today.”

🗣 Sancho: “It feels very nice. To have the fans by my side is always a great feeling, especially when you come to a new club, because you need to feel comfortable straight away, and I’m sure the fans will give me that feeling.”

Sancho: “I’m excited for the new season, especially as the first game is at home. That’s always a confidence booster – to be in front of your own fans – so it will be nice.”

🗣 Sancho: “This is my first tournament meeting Luke [Shaw], because previous camps he wasn’t there. But Luke is a very nice guy and one of my guys to speak to in the changing room.”

🗣 Sancho: “That’s one of the reasons why I came to Manchester, because I can see the development that’s going on here and I want to be a part of it, especially because it’s such an iconic club and being part of it is kind of a dream come true.”

🗣 Sancho on who were his early influencers and who did he look up to: “Ronaldinho and obviously Wayne Rooney for England – those two are very iconic and great role models.”

🗣 Sancho on how he would describe himself to a United fan who hasn’t seen him play: “Eager to win and determined to get trophies. Goals and assists and a bit of skills here and there!” #mufc
